Dabei kombiniert das Team eigene 3D-Druckverfahren mit konventionellen Fertigungstechnologien, um besonders leistungs-starke und ressourcenschonende Antriebsl\u00f6sungen zu entwickeln. Ein besonderer Fokus liegt auf effizienten, leichten und magnetfreien Motoren, die ohne seltene Erden auskom-men und neue M\u00f6glichkeiten f\u00fcr die Elektrifizierung anspruchsvoller Anwendungen er\u00f6ffnen.","cnt_text":"<p>Eine entscheidende Rolle auf diesem Weg spielte der exist Forschungstransfer. Wie Co-Founder Philipp Arnold berichtet, erwies sich insbesondere die fr\u00fche Entwicklungsphase als herausfordernd. Der Weg von den ersten Konzepten hin zu funktionsf\u00e4higen Elektromotoren und belastbaren Fertigungsprozessen war deutlich komplexer als urspr\u00fcnglich angenommen. Die F\u00f6rderung erm\u00f6glichte es dem Team, die notwendige Forschungs- und Entwicklungsarbeit voranzutreiben, technische Infrastruktur aufzubauen und wichtige Maschinen f\u00fcr die Erprobung und Weiterentwicklung der Technologie anzuschaffen. Gleichzeitig schuf der exist Forschungstransfer die Grundlage, das Unternehmen mit vergleichsweise geringem Risiko aufzubauen. Arnold betont, dass Additive Drives ohne diese Unterst\u00fctzung wahrscheinlich nicht in seiner heutigen Form existieren w\u00fcrde. Besonders pr\u00e4gend seien dar\u00fcber hinaus die pers\u00f6nliche Unterst\u00fctzung aus dem exist \u00d6koystem, die das Gr\u00fcndungsvorhaben \u00fcber die gesamte Entwicklung hinweg begleitet und unterst\u00fctzt haben.<\/p>\n<p>Heute z\u00e4hlt Additive Drives rund 100 Mitarbeitende und hat sich von einem technologieorientierten Gr\u00fcndungsvorhaben zu einem international wachsenden Unternehmen entwickelt und konnten Anfang 2026 eine Finanzierung im mittleren zweistelligen Millionenbereich abschlie\u00dfen. Mit den zus\u00e4tzlichen Mitteln treibt Additive Drives nun insbesondere die weitere Industrialisierung seiner Technologien sowie den Ausbau seines US-Standorts voran.
