
Funding application for the exist start-up grant
The applicant for the existing start-up grant is always the university or non-university research institution. However, both the founders and the university, research institution or the relevant start-up network are equally involved in preparing the application.
Task overview
- Contact the start-up network:
The teams make contact with their start-up network and work with the start-up consultants to develop the Ideas paper as the basis for the application. - Appointment of a mentor:
The founders nominate a mentor from their university or research institution to provide technical and/or business support. Multiple mentors are possible, at least one:r is obligatory. - Determination of coaching needs:
Together with the team, the start-up network analyzes the Coaching needs and arranges suitable coaches to support you with your business plan and start-up preparations. - Proof of integration:
Embedding in a start-up network must be confirmed by the university/research institution can be used. If no network is available, another nearby network can be used. - Application submission:
The university or research institution submits the application to Project Management Jülich (PTJ) in. - Feedback from PTJ:
PTJ informs universities and founders about the Status and authorization. The funding is paid directly to the university/research institution. - Contribution to diversity and equality:
The ideas paper should be presented, What contribution women and possibly other aspects of diversity (e.g. nationality) in the team. - Sustainability goals:
The project's contribution to the Sustainability goals of the German government must be described qualitatively and quantitatively.
Application deadlines
- Applications can be submitted at any time.
Complete and submit application documents
The complete application documents are available via the electronic form system „easy-Online“ to be submitted. The attachments that previously had to be submitted separately - the applicant's declaration of commitment, information on facts relevant to the subsidy and the declaration on the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights - are now integrated directly into easy-Online and no longer need to be added.
Please Do not send any copies or scans certificates, residence permits or birth certificates. It is also possible to upload these documents to easy-Online. not required.
Download all complete application documents in the easy online system as individual PDF files, including the XML file, high. A Mailing is no longer necessary; Documents submitted by post will be not considered and returned. All documents are digital or as a scan (signed attachments as a single PDF).
Please keep all signed original documents at least five years after the end of the project at your location. In the event of a On-site inspection can be presented.
