Application for existing women

The following tasks must be completed

• The university or research institution develops a Process for the application and selection of potential female founders.
• The applicant organization develops a Action plan for supporting female founders, which contains all the support tools planned for the duration of the project. This plan can refer both to existing formats that will be refined and developed over the course of the funding and to new formats to be developed that do not yet exist at the institution. It is important that the measures are specifically geared towards supporting female founders.
• Together with the application, the applicant institution designates a Project managementwho coordinates the cohort and acts as a contact person for the project sponsor. This can be a person from the start-up consultancy.
• The start-up network launches a call for applications for prospective female founders or women with a high motivation to start a business or a business idea.
• At the same time, the institution approaches entrepreneurial mentors (from the private sector or their own institution) who are to be placed at the side of the prospective female founders. In the early phase, it can be helpful to rely on mentors who have only recently founded their own company and are therefore close role models. This can be done either by Mentoring network or an existing one can be used.
• The facility manages the Selection of participants through. The approval period and the first months of the project can be used for acquisition, so that the women are named to the project sponsor two months or at the latest four months after the start of the project. The assigned mentors should also be named at this time.

Application deadlines

• Applications for the new existing Women round 2026 can be submitted from 01.09.2025. The submission deadline is 30.09.2025.

Fill out and send the application documents

The application itself can be submitted via the Electronic form system for applications, offers and sketches (easy-online) to apply. Select "exist Women" in the funding area.

For the electronic application, the application documents must be uploaded as a completed, saved, but structurally unaltered Word document! The application and selection concept, the action plan, attachments, etc. can be submitted separately as a pdf document as usual.

There is no need to submit paper documents.
